I was in Walmart (picking up two jugs of M1 10w30...FINALLY started stocking it

) and I saw "Synthetic Slick 50". It said on the box the carrier oil is synthetic vs the regular S50.

Great...they "improved" the way to mess up an engine!
Pixie dust is probably their next big thing.

I am happy to say that I never used Slick 50. Never believed in it, and never tried it.

Now, I will admit that I did use Tufoil, which also contained PTFE. Probably a bad decision, but the people who made Tufoil never claimed that it plated engine parts. They claimed that the PTFE in their product stayed in suspension in the oil. I tried Tufoil after I read an article in PM Magazine about it.

It is amazing to me that some of these oil supplements are still selling, even after fines from the government for false advertising.
