I was wondering if anyone has tried using auto-rx on a rotary engine like Mazda's 13b? These engines are prone to carbon build up later in life, and inject oil into the combustion chamber to lubricate apex seals. Would it be safe ro advisable to use auto-rx to clean the engine?

Auto-Rx has cleaned Wankel designed engines, with
excellent results, configuration of the engine cylinders is not a mitigating factor in Auto-Rx cleansing properties. Hope this helps .

How good does AutoRx burn?
Ash deposits? Carbon deposits?

Need to know affect on oil injected engines like the rotary.

Ah, does anyone have any details? Does Auto-RX harm rubber seals in anyway? Rotaries have problems with caron deposits int eh intake manifold and housings and people have used ATF as a last dtich effort soemtimes to clean them out to get a few more thousand miles from them before they get a rebuild.

Go to www.auto-rx.com and there you can read how Auto-Rx cleans seals (both buna & silicone)in
industry we refurbish seal material in 55 gallon
gear boxes without down time or seal replacement
and we do the same thing in car engines. Auto-Rx
does not "Swell" seals. We make them pliable as
they were when first installed and can clean behind them. Auto-Rx uses the petrol chemistry of new "Dino Oil" to harden seals back up for proper fit against metal. Auto-Rx can not harm seals. However the idea is to stop seal leak and application instructions make procedure clear. You can leave Auto-Rx in indefintely without fear of any type damage. Hope this answer your question.
Auto-Rx will remove ash-carbon from internal oil lubricated rotating engine parts. This board has multiple posts from members on Auto-Rx cleansing benefits.
