Esters and Schaeffer Neutra

We all know Schaeffer Neutra uses an Ester to help with engine deposits.

How do the esters in Mobil 1 and Amsoil differ from the ester in Neutra?

I have a gut feeling (could be gas) that adding 2 or 3 oz. of Neutra halfway thru an oil run and adding 2 or 3 oz. again before engine change will help the oil maintain solvency and keep the engine cleaner.

I intend on using Chevron supreme 10w40 oil this summer for a couple of runs and will sample on the second run to test this hypothesis.(crackpot idea?)

I was considering Pennzoil 10w40, Pennzoil High mileage 10w30, and the 15w40's but chose the product above.

Comments? Please don't hold back, I can take it.

Thanks, MolaKule.

Looks like I'll have to wait for my UOA to know if the "treatment" will work. I do think Auto-Rx is superior but wanted a cheaper alternative.

Lube-control may be the best all around solution but I don't have any yet.
