I bought a truck at an auction with a formula 350 in it and i HATED how it drove, I bought it cuz it was VERY cheep and passed it on less than a week later to a guy that loaded it up and took it strait to Mexico

Almost all fire engines in municipal departments are cab overs due to being so much more maneuverable in tight quarters. Many rural fire department use conventional trucks with long hoods, but this is due to the cost of cab overs, which are all custom built and usually run 50 to 100 thousand more than a conventional. The only cab overs our rural volunteer department has ever had were secondhand municipal units. Personally, I like driving them as some of our backroads here are pretty tight and they turn better and are shorter wheelbase than our conventionals.
