this is in 05 freightliner columbia with detroit s60 14L EGR engine, with 755445 miles on engine and 10176 on oil delvac 15w40. I'm also using amsoil bypass filter for bigrigs. First time doing this. Did oil analysis at Speedco. Pls look over it and let me know how does it look. thx.

Welcome to the site!

Outstanding UOA. No reason to change that oil. Continue to use as is, and get another UOA in another 10k miles.

Update
Well just did analysis at speedco and here are the results
Truck mil 767714
Oil mil 17514
Mobil delvac

Aluminum 5
Chromium Cooper 3
Iron 2
Lead TIN Silicon 6
Potassium 2
Sodium 7
Moly 35
Water Oxidation 5.8
Visc@100 14.5
Glycol ND
Fuel TBN 8.5
Nitration 2.6
Soot 0.3

Had to add less than a gal so far ,oxidation and aluminum went up is that normal?

thx for comments, I used to change oil every 10k to 15k(before bypass filter and doing oil analysis), i'm not sure how far i can take this oil? I'm at 20k now, any suggestions? thx

Yes, actually I'd suggest you change your way of thinking.

Don't think about how many miles will limit your OCI. Rather, set condemnation limits for the lube and run as many miles as you can to get there.

For example, here is a thread with some limits from many of the major diesel engine makers:
http://www.calrecycle.ca.gov/Publications/UsedOil/2008020.pdf
Look at page 11 of the report.

You'll see that soot might be limited at 3%. Fe might be around 100ppm. Cu at 30ppm. Etc, etc.

Too many people do not understand how to use a UOA. The goal is NOT to get low wear numbers. The goal is to set safe, effective limits for the lube, and then operate the lube up to that safe level. Once you reach or get near a limit, then you change oil.

Don't limit your OCI; limit your lube!

Table 4.3

Standard Interval is 15,000 miles.

However notice the note at the bottom of the chart:
"The oil drain interval for Engines with EGR can be increased to 22,500 miles if the oil used is PGOS 93K218 or 93K214 approved".

Mobil Delvac 1300 CJ4 is on the 93K218 approved list.

With a Bypass Filter its possible with synthetic you wouldnt even have to change the filter. I think the biggest issue might be the

Ignore the following line in my original post. It was fragments of several sentences accidentally run together during editing: With a Bypass Filter its possible with synthetic you wouldnt even have to change the filter. I think the biggest issue might be the

Our 60 series run on Delo 10w30 with no bypass filtration run 32kand drains along with the ISX. Mack E-7 and ACET operate on 28k drains with factory spinner. We currently have some older E7 engines with over 1.9 million on them without pulling heads or pan off.

Impressive! And I thought my samples with Schaeffer 7000 15w40 in my S60 were pretty good. Well, they are, but yours are darn good also.

Only difference, is mine is getting Silicon levels at 2-3 ppm. Seems like you might not be getting good air filtration on the first sample, but it did drop on the second. Just an observation.
