Yesterday I saw few new snake oils on Walmart shelf in the Fuel System Cleaner category which I do not recall seeing in the past. For example, Duralube, Lucas, STP all now have FSC product. Unfortunately, their prices were above my impulse purchase threshold. As long Regane HM is around $5.00, I have no incentive to try newer entrant unless I hear from you guys.

Here is how it breaks down in my mind

- Regane at about $5.0 (the BEST "stinking" deal)
- Techron Big Bottle BOGO @ $12-14
- Feel like, splurging? Then Redline @ $10 Amazon
- or 3M Max Strength 3M but lately I have not seen any deal on them.

What are your feelings about the new entrants vs established players?

Not new, but FP60+ is about 50c per ounce (which treats 10 gallons). At .75 per fillup when buying gallon jugs, I find it economical and trouble free.

The tried and true ones you mentioned are what I'd stick with. That Regane price is very nice, for sure!

Berryman has one with PEA, but I can't remember the name. I think it says something like "Complete Fuel System Cleaner."

CRC makes one with PEA also: "Guaranteed to Pass."
