Anything unusual about this for DIY?

Any underbody trays to remove? Is everything pretty accessible?

Any special tools needed?

I see it uses cartridge style filters which I am used to on my MS3.

5 or 6 qt sump?

I am buying a V6 XLE later this month and already planning that first change at 5,000 miles.

Anything else?

As long as you have the filter cartridge tool it's all pretty much right there.

Keep in mind 0w-20 is a requirement for 10,000 mile oci, other weights is a 5000 mile OCI for warranty coverage.

10-4 on the 0W-20. Only I can't see dragging the FF to 10,000 miles. That's why I'm setting up for an oil change already, probably around 4,000. Then I'll take advantage of Toy's freebies at 10,000 and 20,000, then back to DiY.

Bepperb: is the tool just a filter cap wrench like my Mazda cartridge filter or is there some special Toyota toll they force you to buy?

JC1: thanks for the tip on SiennaChat, I'm already there.

I use a standard adjustable wrench with a cut piece of serpentine belt to fill in a void of space and also for grip. (2) oil changes completed by myself and I've not had any detrimental effects.
