Craftsman 118-piece Dual Marked Mech Tool Set

Add one $0.99 filler item to bring the total over $50. Use $5 code SEARS5OFF50 to bring price to ~$46 with store pick up.

Lots of 6 point sockets. Bought (and posted) a similar 106 pc set last year as a Christmas gift. This set is similar but has easy to read markings. Looks very decent for the money, nice gift.

Another filler item.

Now that would make a great gift idea for someone's car trunk.

Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, this set is. All Craftsman hand tools are made in USA. Jacks, jack stands, strut compressors, etc. might be sourced from who knows where, so look at the packages.

a BIG THANK YOU-I've been looking for a reasonably priced set with the larger laser size markings-the eyes aren't what they used to be. Thanks for passing it along

FWIW one of the reviews on the OP provided link says it is all USA made.

It's back with no filler item or code required, $44.99.

Went fast at local Sears stores here first time and local store stock here seems limited now. Better grab it if you're interested in free store pick up.

How is the case? Does it have extra room to throw pliers etc to make it a decent "stay in the car" kit?

And what does Dual Marked" real mean?

Likely the same as/similar to any blown plastic case that Craftman has long sold including the similar 106 pc posted here last year that I purchased as a gift.

That being the case it's highly unlikely it has extra room for other than the described pieces in the set. Again, the way these Craftsman tools sets have been as long as I remember.

Just speculating but dual marked likely means large number etching on opposite sides, or in addition to the standard smaller numbers. Either way the point is they are easier to read.

I suppose if you're looking for something with other tool storage, you would need to buy a bag to go with it. But, I suppose with your high level of tool expertise you knew this already.

This set is likely not right for you. wink2 Sold out at local stores here.

I only "buy" tools, I don't "use" them :-) I think this will be "perfect" for me!

Seriously, I have the last years 153 piece set and that molded case has enough empty room to throw few extensions, a u-joint and a pliers.
