where I shop most often there are three house brand oils.
One is a dino jaso fb, one is a synthetic jaso fc, and one is a synthetic "snowmobile oil" rated jaso fd and api tc.

Why do you think it specifically says snowmobile? Can I use it in other air cooled engines?

Yes, you can. There is nothing unique about Snowmobile oil. It is often just other 2-stroke oil that has been packages for a different market (the snowmobile market)

Can't see any reason for not using snowmobile oil other than it might cost more than a general purpose two cycle oil.

Generally when an oil bottle has a picture of a motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, or other powers ports machine on it, the price usually goes up. I buy conventional general purpose two cycle oil for as little as $13.00 per 4 liter jug. I've been using it for decades in everything two cycle I have. Including chainsaws, grass trimmers, lawn mowers, power ice auger, leaf blower, off road enduro racing motorcycle, snowmobiles etc. Any decent TC-3 oil will work just fine and you don't need to pay a fortune for it either.

ok, I was just thinking "jaso fd, that's top notch. Maybe I want that, I'm a BITOGER..."
It's not that expensive, but more expensive than those other two at ca $12 per liter. Mobil 1 Racing 2T is $28 per liter. Here, in Sweden.
