K&N 171C

hey guys. I've been running the K&N 171C on my last couple of bikes. Mainly, because I can get them at a decent price, through AA. Are they a good filter? Is there something better? I don't see a lot said about K&N automotive oil filters, and was just wondering about them. Thanks

I see lot's of K&N at the track as they are so easy to safety wire.

To date I have not seen or heard of one fail.

Some say the Amsoil filter has better media in it but who knows.

I have used all 3 and have noticed much difference in the UOA's.

I think K&N auto oil filters are average filtration and a very sturdy can. K&N moto oil filters have a different manufacturer (Champion Labs for the cars, HiFloFiltro for the moto), and I do not know how they are different from the HiFlo branded filters except the color and price.
