Experimenting with a lower cost oil:

Castrol GTX 5W20 with almost 6000 mi came out

. Still my favorite conventional in spite of the BP thing. But I had good results with MobilClean 5W30 in my Hondas so we'll give it a shot.

Not sure if this applies your BMW timish, but someone recently had posted a UOA from a BMW using the car company labeled brand and it was an awesome extended OCI report.
