I recently received an email from K&N saying they have a new oil filter. The numbers start with PS-####. They are black in color and lower in price than the HP-#### K&Ns (Pace Performance has them for $4.71). I also searched them on Summit and it added PowerSports to my search but according to the email from K&N they fit the vehicles I have (from the pics on the Pace Performance site they look the same as the HP filter minus the one inch nut on top). I plan on ordering one and checking it out.

I think it will turn out to be an E-core.

Can it lighter, there is no one inch nut on top, seems to be less pleats (have not counted though).

That's for sure. I'm surprised.
Looks like a AC/Delco, pre-Ecore...now called the AC/Delco "Classic" which, IIRC, was Champion Labs.
