Schaeffers noted the oil to be normal and to extend the change to 25,500 miles.

Thoughts?

Did you get a number on final TBN? Did you do OA's at lower mile increments? Viscosity is above the maximum listed on the Supreme 9000 spec sheet.

Schaeffers is on my short list of oils to run in my Dodge on the next oil change. The M1 TDT is being consumed at about 1qt/1500 miles. 22k miles with no makeup oil is out of this world compared to that. And my engine only has 180k on it.

Schaeffer doesn't offer TBN as part of their analysis. You can see my other UOAs on this forum.

The increased viscosity is probably associated with the 0.9% soot load?? 15.87 CST compared to a reported 15.75 CST...that's probably within the analysis's range of error.

I was pleased overall with the results...considering the abuse I put the truck through during this UOA.

Copper is probably from the oil cooler...its a known thing that leaches.

Interesting...

Considering the higher fueling, which should mean higher soot from combustion, the oil is doing remarkably well to get 22k miles. I see from your other posts that you have a bypass filter, so that must help.
