I don't like using grease or oil on the hinges of folding knives and multi-tools, because wet lube attracts lint and all sorts of particle contaminants. Instead, I apply graphite powder mixed with denatured alcohol via a syringe precisely to the lube points. The alcohol gets drawn into the joints and vaporizes, leaving the graphite powder behind. How do you lube your folding knives?

I've got some of molakules PPS.

It's not available anymore, so has been relegated from gun cleaning to specialty applications.

Exactly what I'm using.

I use a CLP (Firepower). Although wet, the cleaners evaporate and it is easy to leave just a slight effective lubricating film.

Works well on my hinged hand tools (Pliers ...) too where I tend to have more of a problem with rust.
