I have been using a Lithium Complex Grease on my boat trailer bearings (9000 lb boat), gimble bearing, Spline coupler, etc.

I was planning on switching to Pennzoil Marine Grease which is a Calcium Sulfonate Complex. I found conflicting info on compatibility, but I think it is fine to mix with the lithium complex, correct?

I would like any opinion on switching to this grease as well if you know a little something. I am fairly oil literate, but not grease savvy at all.

If you clean all the old grease out there will be no compatibility issues.

If you can't, just regrease a little more often to assure that the grease doesn't degel.

This appears to be a very good grease, though I have never used it.

I don't believe you will have any issues but as Tempest said, best to get all the old grease out if possible. The Pennzoil Marine Grease is an excellent product.
