02 Grand Caravan. The back door hatch has two arms that are starting to rust a bit right where the arms goes into the .... and out. Sorry don't know what I should be calling them. There is a bit of rust. What can I use to slow it a bit and should I lube that up?

Hi,
a good clean with WD40 as Bruce has suggested and then treating with "Fish Oil" will work too
Fish oil is very good at penetrating seams and all nooks and crannies if applied as stated on the label
It is usually available in liquid form or as a spray

Doug,
that's effective but cruel.

I remember fishoiling my LC and LJ torana's 20 years ago...and Oz summers.

Fish oil and unboiled linseed are pretty much on par as drying oils. (linoleum is dried linseed).
