Ok, I will admit to having temporarily suffered from a frozen trunk lock during a recent road trip. Of course this had to happen while visiting family; thankfully Moms are -so- understanding! This was benign negligence on my part as I apparently forgot to shoot it and the door locks since the keyless entry had gone south last spring.

They've all since seen the CorrosionX straw and are now working as they should during this recent frigid blast.

Get 'em lubed fellas!

I felt your pain with my old 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. I bought the car used and the previous owners didn't give me the fob for the keyless entry. I found out the hard way that the locks would freeze up in cold weather. I ended up buying one of those lock defroster cans with the press nozzle and carried one around with me at all times. I would lube it up and a few weeks later it would freeze up no matter what I sprayed the lock with.
