so how many years After the expiration date on a product do you think is okay.....I have to check my Redline and Superlube tubs...

Recent orders of grease from Loctite (marine antisieze and moly paste) had expiration dates. I buy my stuff in small batches except for Superlube, but I'm curious when does a expiration date is applicable or more prevalent in paying attention to...

I guess it depends on the product. Superlube I think would be fine until the product starts to visably seperate, and as long as the tube of Loctite isn't as hard as a rock, I think you will be okay there too

I think a lot of products have expiration dates on them to protect the manufacturer from being blamed for making a lousy product. We had some chips in the vending machine at work that were expired by a week or so, and the people were acting like they turned to poison!
