Just grabbed a "Jetzon" from the tire pile.

This name thing is getting absurd. Flying cars don't even need tires.

Check out their web site...been around since 1965, yada,yada...not sure who actually owns the name or makes the tires, but I think the majority of them come from Asia.

Not getting, this one has been around been around a long time.* When I was kid (a long time ago) I remember my dad purchased studded snow tires with the Jetzon name.

Well, since some of TBC's private brands are made by Cooper (multi-mile, sigma), so it could either be Sumi or cooper...

Back in the mid-90's, these were made by Cooper Tires, and were very similar to a number of Mastercraft tires made by the same manufacturer. They were pretty decent tires back then, my boss put them on a couple of his cars and liked them.

They may be quite different now, but at least back then they were at least a respectable tire, not a cut-rate Chinese "no-name".
