Can I mix Dex cool in a Hemi??

I am helping my neighbor tune up his truck. He has Dodge ram with a Hemi. I have a Silverado. I use Dexcool his fluid is orange I was going to dump his radiator and refill it. Can I use Dexcool???

NO!-you should use Zerex GO-5, Mopar orange antifreeze, or Ford Premium Gold-the gaskets may not be compatible with Dexcool, and failure to get ALL the old coolant out may cause sludging problems! If you are desperate, universal green or all-makes-all-models could be used, but I wouldn't leave it in. Remember, the factory orange coolant is rated for 5 years/150,000 miles, and I can personally vouch for it lasting even longer (my 300D has had it for around 6 years now, still looks new).
