ProStreet: You gotta love FiOS. Here is my crummy RR connection.

Waiting on RR Lightning to come out my area next month. Should be 40 Mbps and 10 upload.

We are OC3 at work. I can download SP2 for vista in about a minute (345 MB) on a busy day with over 300 pc's hitting the proxy.

We had an OC3 at school. Gotta love 155Mbit.

I have the best package from Cox in Pensacola, Florida. Cost is 59.95 per month. I download large files constantly and require the bandwidth as I hate to wait. I've downloaded "real world" files fast as 4.5 MB/s and it helps with game patches, drivers, music, videos, etc...

My line is technically a 'business' line. Its worth an extra 1mb/512kb over the residential offerings. Plus I dont have to worry about nasty letters if I use 200GB in a month.

Just downgraded my 6Mbs service to 768K/128K; running a test shows about 600K download 300K upload. Funny, browsing online blogs, bitog et al doesn't seem much different. I also VPN'ed to work and everything works well (most work is done via shell access)
