Support contract required to get BIOS updates?

I need a BIOS update for a Sun Fire X4450 and Sun's website says that I need a support contract to access the file?

We won't be buying Suns again for other reasons, but if those other reasons didn't exist, this one would be good enough.

I has been like that for a year or so. Oracle has already clamped down on other things. Apparently no more support contracts for s10x86 on non-Sun hardware. Tony can correct me if I am wrong.

We have a few mission critical apps on Sun SPARC stuff; I'm curious how this is going to play out.... From the support site it looks like all they have done is rebranded everything "Oracle"

Note to Larry:I will never call it Oracle Solaris or Oracle SPARC or Oracle Java. I will continue to call it "Sun" even when calling support and I will ignore your staff's attempt to correct me. Thank you for providing a financial umbrella to a company that needed a hand, but don't pretend you created any of it.
