How many miles on Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5w40 ?

I use this oil in a 2.5 liters Mitsubishi engine, I pour 2 gallons every oil change, is a big carter, how far can I drive it to squezze this excelent oil?

What year and type diesel is it?

For what I read in their brochure, this oil is designed to last about four times the recommended service interval. in your case must be like 12000 miles.

This is a 2008 Mitsubishi L200, one ton truck.

Is that common-rail injection?

8 quarts for just a 2.5L is pretty big. VW's diesels are 4L for a 2.0L engine, and that's a 10K mile interval.

I bet you could go 15K or 20K miles with D1 ESP. Check via UOA of course though, there's many variables.

Yes is a common-rail, and i guess I can squezze mileage to 8 quarters of oil. thanks

Mitsubishi dealer ask for oil change every 6.25K miles or 10k kilometers, I believe I can dare to go double, 12k miles, I should make test at 12k miles and see if it can go further. Eigth liters are a lot, first time I see such a carter in small engine.
