I'm kind of in the same boat. Even though I know that the glued pleats are supposed to be sealed, and I've never heard of any Denso filters failing by becoming unglued, I'm still uneasy with the design. However, I'm not quite uneasy enough to stop using them, since they are OEM, cheap, and perform decently.
