Valvoline only sell synpower mst in 55garlon drum. That mean you cant get it through regular retail. You may request a synpower mst oil change from Valvoline oil change spot.

In Europe Valvoline MST 5W30 is THE BEST MOTOR OIL 5W-30 for gasoline engines.
The lowest wear (505.01 !!!) and mid-saps and mid-TBN (7)!
Even better then Mobil-1 5W-30 ESP.

nobody doubts this oil rocks, but simply the availability is next to none. 55 gallon drums in europe is not doing me any good. i'd buy the stuff like a zealot if i could get it over here in the states in bottles.

Why do you equate 505.01 with low wear ?

I have a few bottles of the 5w-40 and the "MST" is printed on the labels.

I'm wondering the same thing.

506.01 is the higher anti-wear oil, although the latest 504/507 standard offers the same anti-wear protection at 506.01.

505.01 is more geared toward oxidation and anti-sludge (comparatively speaking)
