CBR Valve Adjustment

Adjusting valves is easy. I don't understand all the worry.

One tip: before you remove the cams use some sort of scribe/paint mark on the cam chain and sprockets to assist in getting the engine timed properly again. Just double check your cam timing per the manual and everything will be fine.

Spoken like an (albeit)experienced optimist if I ever heard one!

Cheers! (& GOOD LUCK!)

Make sure to clean the bike before taking it to the shop, or they well probably tear it a part dirty and drop dirt in your motor.

But its worth the 350 dollars IMO, unless you really know what your doing and really want to do it.

Its alot of work, for me too much with multicyclinder bike.

Thats why my VFR is at 66,000 mile and never had a valve check, should have had about 5 of them by now.

Lets hope my leaded race fuel diet, provides some needed medicine to keep them from wearing.
