MX-5/Miata engine oil

Mazda recommends 5w20 for my 2006 MX-5 2.0L engine. I would like to know which brand is likely to be the best. Also, is this weight the best for me, only street driving, no motorcross. I'm sure this topic has been covered before, but I couldn't find my answer in Search. Thank you, DrJ

Motorcraft 5W20 seems to have a good reputation. You can move up to Amsoil or Redline if you want. I think Most 5W20 are from good base stock

I am now using the M1 5-20EP in my Fusion and the engine is very smooth and quite.
