I had my bike frame powder coated Black years ago.Is sandblasting the only way to get rid of this? I want to paint it another color.Black is just too, "black".
I used aviation paint stripper. Bought it at my local Wal-Mart. It worked very well.
I have also just scuffed up the powder coated paint with scotch brite pads and repainted over the top with good results.
