I would get either Sumitomo HTR H4, Fuzion HRi, Nexen N5000, Riken Raptor HR (made by Michelin) or Yokohama AVID Touring-S for few dollar more. I think Achilles is designed and made in China, until now I don't trust China made tires.

I put a set of those on my mother's car last year. I liked the tread pattern, and they looked similar to the Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring - which is also made in Indonesia - but with a slightly more aggressive tread. They are smooth and quiet, they seem to handle and grip well, and they are not showing any wear yet after two summers of use. Two of the four tires did require a lot of weight to balance, but the balance feels good.

Honestly, I'd only takes these over a set of Firestones...

If you'd just spend $10 more per tire, you'll likely get a lot better tire.

I think with the cheaper tires, if you actally take care of them, they will be just fine.

My buddy had no name tires on his SL1 for years, with no issues. He rotated them every 6k, and they lasted around 40-50k....
