I have 1997 Sentra and it is time to change oil.

So which one would you use?

you cannot go wrong with Valvoline Synpower, Quakerstate Horse Power or Pennzoil Platinum.

I have returned back to preferring PP over all conventional synthetics available in the market today, and it is the most favoured oil on BITOG forums!

and if you come across M1 being sold at the price of PP or just a buck or 2 more or so....then I would prefer one to settle for M1.

hope this helps!

Same company, but the formulations between the two are different.

Shell positions their various oil brands in this order (for gasoline engines)
1. Pennzoil
2. QS
3. Shell

From that, you would always expect the Pennzoil oils to be of slightly higher quality.
