I know this thread is old... And if Madibob is still visiting? I wanted him to look into the {ELC}Red coolant--I use Rotella ELC--->Just pour it in and forget it...well as coolant filter system... Bob has a great filter system made for our 7.3L.

This filter system will keep your hard to change and expensive water pump, pumping for many yrs. As well as keep your whole cooling system clean and flowing.

The reason I asked is because the '04 6.0 PSD runs Premium Gold (which I have changed religiously every 60K/roughly 2 yrs.), owner's manual says SCAs not needed-but Ford put a sticker on the radiator core support saying to use them? Kind of confusing!

My wifes Superduty 2002 came with yellow antifreeze and the manual says do not add SCAs with the yellow.
