I'll throw an example out there; would those of you who take this seriously consider this an "entry" level bike?

I'm just trying to get an idea of what is considered quality and what would be reduced to the bane of walmart. It helps be but a gauge on the opinions.

"That's cool that the guy keeps his yugo going, it probably close to the bare necessities of driving, which has its own appeal atleast to me. "

Yeah, we don't laugh at him but we do laugh at the car. I drive a 93 corolla with 280K miles so I tread lightly with the yugo. Obviously the corolla isn't in the same "class" as the yugo, but most probably think twice before parking next to either one in a tivol parking lot.

that is LIGHT YEARS ahead of any dept store bike, seriously. personally, being a bike shop veteran I don't believe in mail order bikes, but it looks to be a nice bike.

I recently noticed that many department store bikes still came with quill stems. I even saw cottered cranks.

I think used bikes are great values. If you keep a look out you can get a great bike for very low cost.
