mystic oil?

Still a good oil. I use their 15W-50 synblend HDEO and it does very well in an old tractor to help keep oil pressure up when worked hard in the fields cutting tall grass. The syn part of it does not seem to negatively affect the old gaskets and seals.

Their oils and greases are still of good quality/value and not hard to find in the marketplace.

FWIW, I used Mystik JT-8 15W-50 in an old VW with the hot-running air cooled engine. No problems to report. Later I switched to full syn though.

been using mystik 15w40 syn blend in my wifes 99 olds alero 3.4. i recently did the head gaskets and noticed the cylinders still had crosshatch patterns. weird? been using it for about 50,000 miles.

Wow.
IMO, Olds was the best car GM built. Shame they dropped it.
