Looks very good to me considering the miles on this oil sample. Still seems like a lot of additive left even after 10,000+ miles.

tuner or chip? stock hp and torque?

great base stock oil. wish it were avail in this area. all the great adds. boron, moly, mag.
the base stock quality helps with long turbo life

will Dodge/Cummins cover their engine under warranty with a CH rated oil?
2 dealers here told me no way.

Deere will probably keep it a CH rated unless the EPA forces them to CJ
300 hp tractors with CAT converters and DPFs, what is the world coming to.

PULLED VC OFF TO INSPECT CAM WEAR PRIOR TO SAMPLE!!!Cam lobes showed moderate wear (edges very sharp) no visible damage to followers or rollers with #3 exhaust showing most wear...Added Bypass oil filter and magnetic drain plug at this oil change along with full bottle of ZDDPlus and will drain again and sample at 5K.....Thoughts anyone?

1quartlow,

You should start a new thread for this, that way more people will notice it and it won't interrupt this thread.

It would be interesting to hear others thoughts on this, but I would suspect a metallurgy problem is at hand here...

Sorry...I thought that I had started a new thread (I copied someone else's UOA and pasted my results to make it easy and I posted by mistake)
Thanks
