I have narrowed it down to these two cleaners that I'd like to use. Here some info about both. I know there are positive experiences by almost all who have used these two solutions and both the manufacturers make pretty confident claims about these products. So I know I can't go wrong with either one but looking at the MSDS sheets below what do think which product would best at doing which particular task among injector, valve, combustion chamber and piston top deposit cleaning ?

Redline SI-1 -

(15oz - $8.95)

Amsoil P.I. -

(12oz - $10.50)

The personal experience I have with the PI is with my motorcycle. I can look straight down the throttle bodies and see the backs of the intake valves. Before the PI treatment they were pretty crusty and black looking. After just one treated tank they became a nice golden brown transparent color. This is just my experience with the PI no direct experience with the SI.

If you do decide on the PI let me know and I will save you a couple bucks off that $10.50 price you listed.

Amsoil PI is probably better. I used SI-1 in my Saturn and it didn't make any difference, and I had not used any fuel system cleaner in 121k.

Redline S1-1 is a great product. I have used it and seen how clean it keeps the valves and combustion chambers. I think amsoil PI will work just about the same. The same would go for Techron FI cleaner. Its really brand preferance in the end

I've used both and couldn't tell you which is better. Both if used regularly should prevent any buildup.

The Amsoil PI is a more recent formulation. Wouldn't surprise me if RL upgrades their SI soon.

I have never used the Redline product, but I have great results with the Amsoil PI. It unclogged a plugged injector on my Neon when nothing else off the shelf would!

I have found good results with the Redline, BUT the Amsoil results will last longer.

Looks like my M key stuck. Asoil is what I use when I pay $4.50 per gallon for regular.

Best deal going is purchasing a case{12 bottles} of Redline SI-1 for only $63 DELIVERED to your door from Amazon.

I just ran Amsoil PI through. Excellent acceleration now and almost 1 MPG increase.
