Looks fine. Did you continue use, or change? Didn't get the TBN?

Vis held up nicely for that exposure. Sometimes I think the "shearing" of HEUI in the Powerstrokes gets overblown. I know that it happens, but it seems to become a blanket statement with many people, when the factual basis does not always support it. I agree that shearing happens, and some people have UOAs to show it, but others can show where shearing isn't as big an issue. Seems to be more of an individual vehicle issue, rather than a fair generalization. My neighbor's '05 PSD 6.oL runs Rotella 10w-30 year round, and he never sees shearing in his UOAs. His more recent load went 7.5k miles; sampled and is in continued use.

Was this the CJ oil?

My wear #'s (Iron 54, Lead 15, were about 20 and 5) kept creeping up using Schaeffer's 5W-40. The last 3 analysis showed this. Driving conditions the same. I switched back to Shell Rotella 5W-40, and we'll see if I can get the wear #'s back down.

There are a couple of other Schaeffer oil users experiencing the same trend. We all have 2005+ 6.0l Powerstrokes.

Do you have a jug of it lying around somewhere? If so, would you mind looking at it to see if it's the CJ-4 or CI-4+ spec?

Great looking UOA. Most of us diesel heads are still wanting to see some CJ-4 oils to see if they are as good as the CI-4+ oils.

Didn't seem to make a difference in 7500 miles from Delo CI4+ to Delo CJ4 for me...

The back label of the oil has a circle with API Service CJ-4,CI-4/SM then on the bottom of the circle it has CI-4 Plus. Hope this helps
