This sample is from a case of ASM I bought early last year 2008. I shook it before taking the sample. This is from an open quart from a recent oil change, the same case of oil has been used and tested in my Rio. Testing was by OAI.

Thanks! I was getting set to send this oil to the same lab for a VOA!
Nice to see the consistency between labs.

This is a great oil. I just put some in a police cruiser the other day for a little long drain test. Recent UOA results on this board have been excellent.

I just compared this VOA to several of my UOA's on this same oil. Pretty good agreement in all of the additive numbers. My oil was from two cases purchased in late 2007.

Agreed. I was a bit suprised by the oxidation numbers in my 1st UOA of ASM at 10k miles. But comparing it to the VOA now oxidation really had not risen much if at all.
