Redline 5W30 in a 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel (non-turbo). 33K mi on rebuilt engine. Fuel is 100% biodiesel (with an occasional few gallons of petrodiesel in the winter to prevent gelling). Oil has 9300 miles on it with a filter (Mann) change at 5000 mi. A total of 2 quarts of makeup oil were added, including the 1 quart the filter holds. 5 quart sump including filter. Vehicle commutes 12 miles each way daily in Seattle (temps range from about 25F in the winter to about 90F in the summer). Si is kind of high - air filter has 20K mi on it so will be changed soon. I apparently didn't get a soot level reading - maybe I have to ask for that specifically? Any comments on this oil in this application? Thanks for taking a look.
