A local repair shop near me swears by Justice Brothers Fuel
Injector Cleaner and there oil additive which is supposed to
treat the metal. They told me that tried the bearing test at
there garage and it showed that it worked and that the fuel
injector cleaner causes the gas to burn cleane.
Any thoughts ???

My thoughts are that you can't really go wrong with any of the F.I. cleaners on the market, as they do serve a (marginal) purpose. I would definitely PASS on the oil additive, since I've never seen any hard evidence that oil additives (other than what's already IN the oil you buy) serve any useful purpose in a properly functioning engine.

I have heard good things from users of Justice Brothers oil additive products in race engines. They quantified the difference in how good the motor looked after teardowns for rebuilds with and without the products.

I don't know first hand, though.

a relative of mine who had been building motors for 50+ years swears by Z-Max fuel injection cleaner...... hearsay is exactly that. I swear by Amsoil PI, and RL SI-1, but its up to you to see if you like it.

A auto shop near me, just put up big banners for the Justice brothers fuel system cleaner.

Its getting big for auto shops. But is that because it works, or because its cheap for the shop and easy to turn a profit???
