The manual for my Dodge says to use a HOAT coolant (as I recall), and the Zerex G05 was about the only non-dealer offering. Works great, now super models are always making passes at me, I hear Led Zepplin playing in the background while driving..... :^)

Mopar and Ford antifreeze ARE Ashland/Valvoline/Zerex G-05. The dye is slightly different between brands. The antifreeze is made for these car makers by Ashland/Valvoline.

I have Zerex G-05 in my mom's Jeep Grand Cherokee, and everything is working fine.

It looks different, but I can tell you from experience it performs the same as the factory and dealer coolants.

Greaser,

You're running Dex-cool(OAT) chemistry in a system that recommends HOAT.

Keep us posted how that works out in the long run. I'm curious.
