Anyone ever refuse dealer shop supply charges?

Well, they didn't appear on any bill that I'm aware of until (relatively) recent history.

Now if a guy uses a can of brake clean and charges for the can of brake clean. Fine. But charging me $10 for a $3.50 can of brake clean that he's also charging me receiving/storage and handling on is a blotted charge.

Okay ..do the job and don't wash your hands. I don't want that service from you. Don't wipe them either. Just hire a clown to drive the car in an out. Get one of the service advisers or "Mr. Clean" (every shop has one) to do it.

I mean, where do you really draw the line on tabbing the bill?

What's next, privilege fee for bringing the car to be serviced?
 
i refused it on the last visit to an acura dealer. my reason was the $$ was different to the estimate. they know how long it would take to do the work, i taken them as professionals, and for $110/hr, i think it's fair to say that. they would know what kind of supply would involved. in my case, no word about it on the estimate nor pricing panel. it's not about $$, it's about principle.
