Hello Gentlemen.
I have a few questions regarding Suzuki LT125 Quad.
It is made in 1983 and has about 1100 original miles on it. Engine runs as good as new. According to the manual it uses 10-w40, and it also has wet clutch system. Now, is it O.K. to use synthetic oil in it, or I just have to stick with dino oil.
What kind of oil do you recommend for this bike?
Thanks

Synthetic is just fine...in the heavier weights, anything over 10w30 should be fine.

As for an oil recommendation, I'd say use any 15w40 dino diesel oil, or 5w40 synthetic diesel oil of your choice. In my easily riden 4stroke quads I like Mystic 15w40 or 15w50 synthtic blend. This oil is available at Tractor Supply or O'Rielly Auto Parts, at least in my area.

Hope this helps

i second the hdeo suggestion.

shell rotella 15w40, 5w40
mobil delvac 1300 super 15w40
chevron delo 400 15w40
castrol tection 15w40

all readily available at the local walmart

I recommend Exxon Superflo 20W50, rotella 15w40. only ones i have run in my dirtbike. i do have a gallon each of delvac 1300 15w40 and chevron delo 400 15w40 but have not run them yet. soon
