Wix 51060 or 51061?

Which filter should I use in my 1975 C-10 Chevy with a stock 350 motor?

Depends on if you want an ADBV or not...

The 61 appears to be a finer filter in comparison. It doesn't have an ADBV.

You can always opt for the mega 51794. BIG, BABY!!!

When you say “finer” are you referring to difference between Beta Ratio?

Info from Wix web page talked about in previous posts.

Filter 51060 Beta Ratio: 2/20=17/41

Filter 51061 Beta Ratio: 2/20=11/27

Yes, the 061 is finer. With the numbers on the right of the = ..lower is better.

I will try the 51061 or a Napa 1061.

O’Reilly auto parts used to sell Wix but now the Wix have been replaced by Big Orange.

Wonder why WIX provides the full size GM trucks with a non-ADBV 2nd filter option, but for my mid-size GM Colorado they don't? All they offer me is the ADBV version 51522WIX/1522(NAPA).

Thanks Dradave you are correct.

I stooped by O'Reilly's auto parts today and asked if they still sold Wix oil filters.

The counter salesman told me they moved the Wix to the back to give the front shelf space to Fram.
So I was able to buy a Wix oil filter # 51061 for $5.29 + tax.
