Man, those are some decent wear numbers- is that the new CJ4 Rotella? Is this vehicle used in Winnipeg? What conditions? Always plugged in? Coolant heater?
 
The reason the lead bugs me a bit is that it is about a 4X increase from last UOA. Could be an error though. Also, the first UOA was 200+ PPM copper. That makes me think a bearing might be going somewhere.

Yup CJ-4. Bought in drums.

The oil is only what, 3 months old? Haven't seen winter conditions yet. I may switch to 9000 in about 5-6 weeks.

Never plugged in, I don't think I've ever plugged in. Anything below 10C I run the espar engine heater for a while.

Never idle, take it easy on the highway, this engine sees an easy life. Average weight in the box is probably 20,000 lbs.

I mostly drive alberta to ontario, and midwestern US. The hardest it will see is the hills on 17 between nipigon and SSM.

is this on mainly ULSD?

Pb is more than likely drum or drum pump contamination

do a VOA out the pump hose

that Rotella fill may outlast the engine
2 million km oil
why change a good thing

great maintenance on the air filter system

Yes mostly ULSD. Probably at least 95%.

Yup we use a drum, with a drum pump.

I'll do that VOA, thanks for the input!
