100 octane?

Not an MX6 just a 626 hatchback. Must check that web site sometime. Yes we get gas (petrol) possibly only beaten by Japan but the availability of 100 octane may have made us equal. Refineries spent a fortune upgrading, we are indeed lucky.

Actually, 100 RON is closer to 95 (R+M)/2 and obviously lower than 100 AKI. MON is always lower han RON because the test conditions are harsher. 98 RON is equivalent to US/Canada 93-94 (R+M)/2.

Actually about 97 octane not 93-94.
