Z71 on GMT800 2500HD

Quick question, for the GMT800 HD (2500HD, 3500), was there a Z71 package available on these trucks?

Were they stylized by the Z71 logo on the Box like the 1500's? Or only identifiable by the RPO codes?

Could you get a Z71 2003-2006 2500HD crew cab, 6.5 box and 6.0 LS gas engine?

According to a few websites there are two Z71 packages. One is a appearance package the other is the offroad option. It's only aviation on certain spec models.

Z71 doesn't appear on the heavy duty RPO list.

The Z71 package is the same whether or not the truck/suv is 4wd, Though 2wd GMT800 Z71 trucks are rare.....They did have torsion bars instead of coil springs found on standard 2wd's.
2wd Z71 GMT800 Tahoe's & Suburban's were quite popular (Here in Texas anyway).

I did not know there were 2WD Z71 GMT800s, interesting. I've probably looked up parts for some but never noticed it. It became so common with the GMT900s I guess I just assumed that's when they started offering 2WDs with Z71.

Well....It was only the tail end of GMT800 production....'05, '06, & '07 Classic.

Isn’t Z71 (the actual suspension package, not the stickers) a specific set of parts? If so, wouldn’t they be different parts on a HD truck? And if so, wouldn’t it be a different RPO code?
