I enjoyed the BMW Z4's brief stay with me. It's a fun little roadster, but not at all comfortable for long weekend getaways. Unless you are on glass smooth pavement, the ride will beat you to death and becomes exhausting on long drives. So, on Thursday I traded it in on a pristine 2005 Corvette with just 52,000 miles on it. She's loaded with all the bells and whistles (Nav, sport seats, HUD, polished wheels). A C6 doesn't ride like my Cadillac, but compared to the Z4 it does.
I've wanted a Vette since I was sixteen and saw a guy tear out of the Winn Dixie parking lot in an L82 and catch rubber when he shifted into second. Now I have one.
