In Marshfield? I've wanted to go there ever since I saw the movie.

Ghost Ship/ The Hitcher and the remake of The Hitcher was also good ( That doesn't happen often). Battleship, I watched like 8 times and a all time classic, if you haven't seen "Flash Gordon".

The Black Hole is one of my fave movies!!

I want to add another one,The Car from 1977.

I really enjoy films by Quinten Tarantino, the Coens, and Guy Ritchie.

Some specifics:
Pulp Fiction
The Big Lebowski
Snatch
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
Ronin
Star Wars catalog
Saving Private Ryan
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The entire Pixar catalog (you can keep Cars 2 though)

Shawshank Redemption
The Hobbit, 1st 3 installments, they got so far from the book in the 4th one....
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, 1 and 2, it's truly 1 movie...
The Terminator
T2, Judgement Day
The Silence of the Lambs
The Princess Bride

Fargo
Goodfellas
Blow
Office Space
Casino
Pulp Fiction
Man on Fire
Bridge of Spies

I thought parts of the James Brown biopic "Get On Up" were really well done, but the overall production of the movie was way too choppy and kind of disappointing. Loved the chase scenes though...James Brown actually did have a red and white 87-91 F-150 like that and the police did shoot at it during the chase, though the movie does embellish things like crashing through the road block.

Yep, that's a good one, available on YouTube.

There's a house in the film that just sold for 12.8 million dollars. In the film there's a line, I'm just guessing about the exact words, about it being one of them now popular style houses that must be worth about thirty five thousand.

I'd agree, except that I never could see why Barbara Stanwyck's Phyllis, the femme fatale, was supposed to be so all-fired sexy. Kathleen Turner in Body Heat, the very similar 1980s noir, was much more so.

Aside from Stanwyck's miscasting, yes, DI is practically perfect. I always wanted to see another story about Edward G. Robinson's Keyes, the experienced insurance investigator.

Yup! Steve Carrel actually owns a general store in our town. Marshfield is really pretty and the beaches are nice. Well worth a trip!

That's a massively under-appreciated movie. I watched it a few months ago and was very impressed.

My kids get worried when I tell them, "I need a hero, I'm holding out for a hero until..." Needless to say, they know more Bonnie Tyler lyrics than most 7 and 12 year olds these days.

Saw Rockwell was at his best there.
