Your old favourite, that you don’t get much anymore

Castrol GTX. Then the high tech marvel Arco graphite. Then Mobil 1. These days If I can find it cheap I’ll use Castrol Edge EP or Mobil 1 EP. otherwise regular M1.

Don't know it's still available or even the same stuff, but this was the oil I used in the early 80's. It came out of the can clear as water. Must have been good stuff as I never lost a motor using it.

Exxon superflow in a red bottle and a tiger on the front. Have not seen it in years.
I've still got a couple cases of it in my garage. Other than the factory fill oil that's all I've ever used in my '97 Escort wagon. When I first started driving I used exclusively Havoline 10w40 but haven't used it in years. Back about the late '80's early '90's I used lots of Amoco Ultimate and Exxon Superflo 10w40 because Western Auto would run one or the other on sale on a regular basis 12qt. case/$5 with a $5. mail in rebate. I haven't seen any Amoco oil in ages. I used to run Kendall 60w in the Harley I had.
