Came off a Keywest Sportsman 1720 boat with a 90hp Yamaha 2 stroke engine. This inline fuel filter was installed in June of 2016 according to the date, not sure how many hours.

10 micron? So it filters better than Ultra syn material? (99%at 20 microns)

Those actually look pretty good, my boat only went in salt water and filter got wet every time the boat went in the water. The fuel cap would also get water splashed on it a lot! The fuel vents were on the stern and they spent some time under water every time out also, I was not too impressed with that design! I changed mine at the beginning of every year. Boats are high maintenance.

Hard to say as I've never opened one of these before. I wouldn't be surprised if there was rust, as there was bit in the bottom of the can.
